Classroom Environment

Furniture has been used to designate specific areas of my classroom.  

This area shows the independent work stations for each of my students.  

To store all of the photos used for visual schedules, I bought a hardware storage box.

To indicate specific uses for tables, I used colored tape to mark the ends of the tables.  On the student's visual schedules, they have photos of the different tables to guide them to the appropriate table.

This area of the classroom shows the kitchen portion of my room, and a
sensory break area on the left that contains a bean bag chair.

Storage is key to keeping job boxes and folder activities organized.
