Hi-Lo Book: US Military
I have spent countless hours searching for materials to supplement my students' participation in their general education classrooms. Unfortunately, I have not been successful in my searches and have developed many of my very own materials that are student and subject specific but may be beneficial to other CD teachers who have also encountered this problem.
This book is 25 pages long and is a basic introduction to five branches of the US military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. This is a Hi Lo book for students with reading difficulties. This book was created as a supplement for students with cognitive disabilities attending general education social studies classroom in a middle school. This document is best laminated and bound.
